Most aftermarket 6.2l exhuast are single 3".

Borla uses 2.75" headpipe....I feel like I went backwards with single 3.5""

So what are you saying exactly? "You feel like you went backwards with single 3.5"

Our trucks come stock with 3.5" exhaust right?

Good point.. I'm the same way

The single 3'' I added to my Denali felt like it helped, the Catback I have now felt like I lost some bottom end before adding headers. Kooks y-pipe flows into a single 3'' bottle neck also...

Okay I see what you mean.

I am not going headers because down the road, let's say a year or so at the latest I will be going twin turbos so my question to you on the 6.2 exhaust I have now is what would should I do to see some benefits until then?

Granted I haven't had a chance to look under my truck yet, but here is what I was thinking to do to improve flow for the time being.

Delete the CATS and replace with 3.5" open pipe.
Swap muffler to a straight through 3.5" SI/SO 22" Magnaflow.
Delete the Resonator and replace with 3.5" open pipe.

I just picked up some OEM 17'' GMC Sierra wheels/tires that the dealer had laying around. The tires were brand spankin new so my 60's were terrible, they should bite better after a few more miles...

Here's my latest 13.64@102.51mph w/a cheesy 2.21 60'

No weight reduction w/half a tank...I'm 205lbs

Honestly i'm still on the fence, I'm gonna swap various sized y-pipe's and catback's. I'll let ya know when I find that sweet spot...
