I've done a few brake swaps on other rides. Its pretty easy so long as you have a rotor that fits. I'm sure the 16.1" rotor will fit because its the same bolt pattern. Then its a matter of hanging a caliper and some pads on it with adapter brackets. The bias can sometimes get whacked out so an adjustable prop valve solves this but with the ABS and all that stable track tech I have no idea if messing with the fluid flow will screw up those systems.
I was thinking today about this, If I could run a decent metallic pad and keep the dust under control the stock 900 brakes work quite well imo. I wonder if a shield or some sort of rotor housing vented inboard would be the best route forward here? Might look funky though lol.

New plan altogether. I have a 2011 with the 20" Chrome Clad wheels and it looks to be pretty easy to cover the holes up in the wheels with something so no brake dust will get out all over the wheel face. Doing this and running the cop pads should do the trick.
So now the question is; what cop pad do you guys recommend? Priorities are; 1. max stopping power 2. quiet 3.long life
1+2 being most important
