Default Brake Caliper Color

Hey Everyone, I have a All Painted out 2001 Tahoe, and my car is in the detail shop right now getting some work done while I am out of town. I'm getting HID's in the headlights and Foglights. I also wanted to get my calipers painted. Do you think Red calipers would look stupid on a Pewter painted out car? I like them with black and white cars but I have never seen red calipers on a pewter car before. Any advice would help a lot, thanks.

Heres a link, if you want to see my car to help you decide.

I personally don't like it but all the Z06s come that way. Try looking for pics of a Quicksilver Z06 and see how you like it. My buddy has one and I htink his calipers are ugly. LOL

Better red than rusty though.

So you think I should paint them a different color or not paint them at all?

I have a pewter truck *** well, and im about to put eradispeeds on it, and am considering powdercoating them all black or red as well. I wanna powder the brackets and the calipers.

I would paint them for sure. I just don't like red unless the car is black, or red or has lots of red accents.

I'd do them in silver/grey or black.

I'll probably end up doing mine in grey on the lil truck.

Has anyone powdercoated there? How hard will it be to bleed the whole system and rebuild the calipers after the powdercoating.

I'd leave them as the natural finish.

I have seen them red and I think they look good, gloss black would also look nice.
