Done the belltech 2" shackles and removed the lift blocks. Now the rear sits about 3/4" lower than the front....

So my question is the belltech's are only 1" or 2" drop and are they a true 1" and 2" ?? I want a small amount of rake to the front.

This is on my 2011 6.2L CCSB Z71 A/T

 

the struts come with 8 rings that are .5" deep. With all 8 rings on you get a 2" lift. By taking a ring off you get a .5 lower drop which ends up to be a 1.5" lift, or remove 4 rings and get an even ride which is a 0" lift/drop, or remove all 8 rings and get a 2" drop and so on. if you still want a little rake to your truck you could do 3 rings which is a .5" drop which should put you at 1/4 inch higher in the front if your truck really is at 3/4" higher right now.

***btw, besides the eight .5" rings, you also get a .8 ring but I believe you dont take that one off( i remember that one was for trucks with autoride or something??). the instructions are really good and should explain everything up better than me.

 

i got a full 2" from mine. you can always add or subtract rings to adjust the amount of drop to your liking.

 

Same here full 2", it ended up being too low for My 6's and now I'm at 1 inch. Total drop is a 3/5

 

Okay so this helped a bunch! So it is possible to do a 1.5" drop with this setup? I don't think 1" will get me a noticeable rake, but 1.5" would and by not going the full 2" I should have a better chance at getting the alignment to work without having to buy a camber kit. Sound right?

 

you wont need a camber kit even if you go the full 2".
at least ive never heard of anybody needing one with anything less than a 4" drop.

 

Agree w/ javz. N yes u can go up to a full 2" drop. With my 4/6 setup I had a camber kit but now with 3/5 I don't need it

 

got the struts ordered. Will post the first pics of my truck and make my official introduction as soon as I get em installed. Can't wait to have this drop completed...

How do you know if your pinion angle is off? Something you can hear or feel?
