I think that Ford and Dodge may have crept up and past GM on out of the box performance. But for guys like us wanting install aftermarket parts and tuning software we have both beat by miles. Nothing more fun than playin with a LS series motor

Me and my brother went and test drove a new ford ecoboost....it has a lot of torque management but there's no way it would outrun my tuned 6.2! It pulls good up in it's boost, so a tune would help a lot but off the floor there's no way it would run with my truck, I had a video of the speedo but can't find it.... Aren't the raptors really heavy...?

For what it's worth I raped a raptor in my sonoma but it wasn't really a fair fight. The poor bastard didn't know he was screwing with a cammed 6.0 in a sonoma before I wasted his ***. It was sure fun toying with him before I gave both both barrels right between the eyes.
The 6.2 ford does run well though no doubt about it he just ran up against a fight he wasn't expecting to get.

Pretty simple solution to this debacle. All you camera happy 6.2 owner mouth runners go find an Eco Boost truck, or a 6.2 Ford..... whatever, race it and post it. You guys can yap off all day about your theories but why not just go do it. You can find a 6.2 GM versus ..... whatever that no one gives a damn about so just do this and end the debate.
