Default Another "finally lowered" thread LOL

I traded in my '08 ecsb for this '08 ccsb last year and finally got around to getting her lowered. Not for lack or parts or money just time and circumstance. I experimented alot on the other truck so I was able to cherry pick my parts this time. Here's the current suspension set-up, mostly McGaughy's:

-coil relocators
-spindles
-shorter sway bar end links
-flip kit with hanger at 6"
-helper bags
-shock relocators
-DJM calmax drop shocks

coming soon:

-airlift load controller (installed, just need to finish terminating)
-monroe shocks
-DJM rear sway bar
-poly front sway bar bushings

In my experience all of the "drop shocks" are crap, especially with improper angles so I cross referenced a set of Monroes for trucks with the proper load and length, just need to press in some bigger bushings and install them. I think the shock relocators and shorter end links have made a noticeable improvement over the "standard" set-up. It rides pretty nice for a lowered truck, but it will get even better with the new shocks and sway bar.

Thats slick.

I posted over in the static thread on GMFS. Did you not like the DJM 3/6... I thought I remember reading you dumped the lower control arms after like 10k miles?

Thanks for the comments all! Yes, it's 4/6. Don't run out and get the Monroe shocks yet, I still need to give them a try but they're p/n 911258. I was trying to press the bushings out tonight because they're slightly undersized but wasn't having much luck. Here are the specs:
