Like someone already said, the 08-09 trucks will take different timing than the 10-11 trucks. The newer trucks takes less timing.

The l92 has proven over and over again that it really likes about 12.4-12.5 AFR and 24-25* of timing stock.

I had 26* for awhile but i guess i got a bad tank of 93 in the summer and my truck was detonating @ high rpm so i had a couple degrees pulled since i was going on a 4K mile road trip. I think im at 23 but it still runs hard.

Mine runs the same on 26* as it did at 28* to 30* i gained 1-2rwhp across the power band so why run higher timing when it doesnt gain?

Mine isnt stock so my timing may not really count anymore

the cam has a bit to do with total ignition timing one runs. dynamic compression.

also comes down to the type of fuel being used as well.

pump gas is detonation limited
e85 is self control limited

I run up to 23* up top on my 2010, I start pulling a little timing in the IAT table when IAT's go pass 104*F

Very similiar here. I run a little more on the bottom and star pulling it back to 23 right before torque peak.
