Default 402...is it worth it?

I have a big heavy truck and it seems that I have a bent wrist pin, so... Do I freshen the bearings up and put forged pistons? OR do I bit the bullet and spend 4K on a 402 rotating assembly and machine work?

Would like to know any HP/Tq #'s of 402's in trucks! Also how high can I spin a 402 if I went that route?

Forged D.S.S pistons with X groove skirts are about 650$ with rings, so I could prolly go that route for about 1600-1800$

Any input is helpful and appreciated!

Why not consider another stock engine and Boost?

I say do the pistons and a blower. Save the 402 for the next build!

Dont get me wrong I would love a KB racing front mount but prolly won't ever happen! This truck is a DD! And I mean driven every single day!! It has 123,000 miles on it so the bottom could use freshning up! I do have a kit for the truck to spray a 150
