Default Why am I having trouble finding a new LQ4 timing cover?

Rock Auto doesn't list them, SPDC doesn't, and I'm too lazy to look any farther. Is it discontinued? Even if I have to get from the dealer, I want to be prepared with how much it is going to cost. If I know the dealer retail cost before I go to the dealer, I can get pissed off at home, wait a couple of hours, then go to the dealer and be semi-polite to the parts guy.

The LS2 engine is a Gen IV. I believe 06 for the LS2. The others would be 07.5+

The front cover from the dealer also has the seal already installed.

Well, they don't have it for a 2005.

I don't think that's something rock auto will be selling. I'd go to a dealer.

Not sure, I bought the front seat and cracked the front cover while cleaning it, ordered a new cover and it had a new seal installed already.
