Need a something to hold flywheel so I can TQ crank bolt or tighten TC bolts.
I want an actual tool, not the tricks of the trade.
All suggestions welcome.

You can order direct... or check eBay from time to time... about $80 new so keep that in mind

(edit) I did check eBay and couldn't find one... but there are several GENIII engine service specialty tool kits (J 43145) available that include the flywheel lock. If you don't already have the kit I highly recommend it... IMO, the full kit pays for itself even if you assemble a GENIII shortblock once.

Damn man Im glad Im not going to be working on your truck, it would take 5 days just to swap the cam with how **** you are being about it.

Nice looking kit, but those kind of tools are just not in the budget right now.
If I had the change to spare, I would ante up for the kit, but Christmas is just around the corner.
I searched ebay and a lot of other places for that (J-42386-A) flywheel lock, and came up with nothing.
Hopefully I'll find it soon.

Turbo gibbs, you tell us how you can hold the flexplate with that tool on a full bellhousing trans.
