Default Well I finally have some money..and I need help

I have already bought tail light covers, headlight covers and a new grille. I'm getting the windows tinted next week and am going to order a superchip, K&N cold air intake and a Throttle body spacer on the way.(If those are the best selection that is) What times (1/8 and 1/4) should I expect with just those two mods. I'm hoping .5 in the 1/4 and .25 in the 1/8. Also I'm looking to buy a cam and some heads and was wondering what I need and where to get them. After I do all of this I will then purchase my STS turbo. Thanks in advance for the info.
For those that don't know my truck is a 2001 single cab 5.3 RWD

I think you would be better off with a custom tune or just buy HP tuners over the superchip and sorry to hear you have a TB spacer on the way that is probably a wast of money.

get a mailorder tune, they are the same price or cheaper than a superchips and gain tons more power and can tell tuner what you want done

throttle body spacer and tornado are the 2 biggest wastes in the automotive industry ( proven on the dyno) on the LSx engines

If you are planning on going with a sts system in the future I would skip the TB spacer, Intake, and handheld tuner and get a custom tune as mentioned above. Tb spacers and handhelds are not going to do much for you, while a CAI helps it will be of no use when you switch over to the sts.

My advice is to take back the tailight and headlight covers. Taking the step from the intake and throttle body to a cam and heads is large. Work your way up with a mailorder tune, headers, as well as a stall and things of that nature. You need to be able to transfer all this power you are making through your tranmission to the wheels. You have to start worrying about your compression, getting fuel and oil to the right places, temperature when you get involved with a STSturbo system I don't know you knowledge when it comes to all these things but make sure to do your research before you start slapping parts on your truck. And I dont know any trucks that run a .5 in the 1/4 mile

Hand held + spacer + ebay intake = not enough for a 02 5.3 to get me

I helped install it on one of my buddies friend's truck so much talk and nothing in the end.

I have run a dyno tunned 4.8 and that was impressive!
