which vehicles can use E85 gas?
#1
My mom wanted to know this and I didn't know so I figured I'd ask on here? Which vehicles can use the new E85 gas? Is it all vehicles or is it just some vehicles?

Only some vehicles with the 5.3 engine. I believe you will see "E85" on the RPO code list in the glove box if the vehicle is flex-fuel. Check to see if the gas cap is green...it's an E85 vehicle if it is.

i think most vehicles CAN use it but is not advisable
i think the only differnece between e85 and nonE85 engines is some fuel hoses because the ethanol in the fuel causes the standard hoses to decompose or break down
if used for long peroid of time it would break down fuel hoses
NOT ADVISABLE
