@arthursc2 What does TUTD mean?

Also were you able to find out if there was a way to get the trans temp working in the cluster?

the only way to make that work would be to add a sensor for the existing wiring, there so far isnt a way to CAN that data from the 6L80 controller to the cluster, but you can add a sensor to the trans pan and use existing truck wiring and problem solved

That actually may be a badass idea.

So question for you arthur, how are you going to put the gear indicator in your cluster? I assume you are going to take out the trans temp gauge and then insert it in there somehow? Is it small enough to fit?

Also another question because I am oh so curious, how will we be able to tune this with HPTuners? I know the OBD2 port is there but how is HPTuners going to be able to pick up on the 6L80? I guess this may not be a question for you since you wouldn't know but that is one of the big things I am curious about.

Yeah I remember you saying that earlier. Looking at HPT forums it seems like this swap is weirdly popular in Australia lol no idea why.

I think I would skip the TUTD switch as well as the gear indicator as I don't really need it. As long as the cluster can show me PRND and 123 for whatever (never use those really) then that works for me.

This is apparently the sensor.

This is apparently the connector for that sensor.

Question is where exactly do you plumb this in at on the 6L80? I guess I would have to look at one to see where it normally goes. I am assuming inside the pan? Getting the temp gauge working actually does not seem that bad. I really like my Denali cluster

Don't judge me I am bored as hell at work today.

Edit: Or just buy this and drill a hole in the side of the pan lol??? https://www.glowshiftdirect.com/stub...for-gm-4l60-e/
Double edit!: Yay! Someone has already done this for us! Arthur don't go rice do it nice! https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...smissions.html
