how much money have you guys tied up in your trucks? i am just getting started and have tied a bunch up in mine.

3.73 & true trac=1800
nelson tune, harness=550
Mac cai=200
Dual flow's=350
TB spacer=70
Ls1 efans=100

just orderes Pacesetter LT's &Y-pipe=430
and if all works well TR 224, 918 spings, push rods, Tb stall=700

And that doesnt include all of the appearance mods rims, front end, paint

I'm not even going to start counting it all up because I started to do it one day, got to over $15k and started to feel sick to my stomach.

The Z71 had over $9k in it including the stereo junk.

This is why i don't own the C5 anymore. I had to sell it to support my habit.

well. is it the money we have invested in a whole or the money we spent and then took it off and sold it and bought something different. in ine. with all that has been done.
1.two built 60e's-3600.00
2.one 80e built with verter and swap accessories-4100.00
3.differential-complete with axles-posi-and gears--2000.00
4.exhaust-present-headers 600.00-rest 450.00=1050.00
5.wheels and tires-1450.00
6.brakes-450.00
7.engine mods-cam tb-wires-cia-plugs-and goodies-1200.00
13850.00.

and if i add up all the stuff i put on and took off. damn the nos alone was another 1100.00. ****. now that is sickening like f8l said.

$1100-1200. I guess I have self control. My next decision is buy some wheels or get a beater. I am leaning towards a beater.

8500 so far in bolt ons. 200 in specality tools to install some of it. Still another 2 grand on the to do list. Wheels, tires, wideband 02 and possibly dry NOS kit. If I weren't spending it on this it would be something else. Some concellation in knowing I could remove most if not all the stuff and sell it fairly easy I think.

way too much, priorites are now catching up, may have to sell the truck soon to purchase a home.
