Tire rub!!!
#1
I've got a 02 Silvy dropped 4/6 (DJM). Just got some 20x8.5 American Racing Torq-Thrust ST's (grey center) mounted day 'fore yesterday. I'm running a 275/45-20 Goodyear GTII.
My rear tires are catching the lip on the inside of the fender a little. Is there anyway I can roll the lip or something? My fronts rub at full lock, but I can deal with that. Part of my problem is the damn thing bounces soooo much with that DJM drop, almost like the springs are too soft.
Also, how do I post pictures? I'd love for you guys to tell me what you think.
Thanks!

I had the same issue with my bagged truck when I put on my B. Coddington 20's with the same tire you have. What I did was use an air cutoff wheel to trim that lip back that the tires hit, then just used an air grinder to smooth it out a bit and hit it with a little paint to keep it from rusting. If you are completely lost, I can take a pic of it so you can see where i cut.

Yeah cheap is good! That is one reason I'm using them, plus I had a set of 285/60-16 Goodyear GTII's and I liked them, so I'm trying their 20 in. tire.
Thanks Low, I understand where your saying to cut, I'll try that ASAP. Was kinda hoping I didn't need to cut, maybe just roll, the lip but I'll do it!
Thanks. Oh, BTW badass truck, low.

Dude, the front isn't bad. I was just concerned about the rear. That lip on the inside of the fender on the bed was cutting the **** outta my sidewalls. Its taken care of now, thanks Low.
