Default Thinking out loud about this forum.

I have noticed that sometimes we truck guys tend to post non-truck related material in the General Forum. When we do it gets moved. I can totally understand why it gets moved and have no problem with it but there are times when I would like to share something that's not truck related with my friends here but I can't becaue the thread will get moved to the main boards Lounge where none of the truck guys are going to see it anyway.

I never frequent the Lounge because it is usually filled with useless people that barely modify their cars and don't know a canooter valve from a muffler bearing! Besides the fact i don't "know" any of them so I don't feel like sharing whatever crap I wated to opst about in the first place.

Ahh well, just thinking out loud and I just realized this too will probably be moved there and once they read I think they are useless i'll have a whole new set of "fans"... LMAO!

I'm right there with ya. It's like my own little internet family. As odd as that sounds.

i am with ya too. i dont really talk with too many of the car guys on the site. we just seem to have 2 seperate groups of people that dont really feel the need to interact anymore than they need to. there has been talk of trying to get us(the truck guys) to use the rest of the site more and i have been venturing out of this section more and more but i feel the most comfortable right here.

I gotta agree, I rarely if ever troll in the Lounge. I use the FI and LS1/LS6 areas on occasion for info regarding the modded engine build.
Would miss something if it were moved outside of the truck arena....

*signs in relief*

I thought this was just another random stupid feeling/idea I had on my day off today.

It all started while watching the Science Channel and I found out that during the Cretaceous Period the atmosphere was comprised of 30% oxygen compared to todays 20% oxygen. I started thinking about how much more HP we could make if we were drag racing back then.

I do/did use more of the forum and like Jim and KTM I go into the coresponding forums when I need specific info for FI, engine internals etc. But it's the truck guys I feel at home most with. Some of the FI guys are really cool too.

Yeah, the FI guys tend to be more open to "outsiders" then others.

i venture to the other lounge and post occasionally. but it seems that if you don't have a sig with a fbody in it you won't get "how do i say" recognized all to often. oh well. thats life. i can live with that. oh yea, when i do venture out and ask a question, i rarely get a reply. so, the truck sections have to be all that i need for info.

i wander out sometimes, but not to far. my mom always said stay close to home, so i do as im told.

i should probably go out and meet new people because you truck people always get me in trouble. i've wandered out to different forums like Rice4Life.com, Fartcans.com. but nothing feels more at home and in my bedroom like LS1tech.com and the truck section..

Speaking of interacting...

Do you guys remember when Todd @ Dyno had that give away? It was posted in the 'truck' section only. But, how many f-body guys posted, hoping to win the give away. If you never interact over here,.... um....

I'm glad MoreGrip won.

It got my panties in a wad
