Since we really aren't talking about trucks in this thread, i figured i will share my day with all of yall. I took my son to Childrens hospital for a neuro appointment. Everything checked out. He is getting off his meds. Then i took him to New Orleans Zoo thanks to BigKIDs girlfriend getting me and my wife and son in free. I seen a lot of yalls relatives in the primate area. They seemed to be doing quite well. Like i said, i thought i would share my day.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I agree .. some of the car guys seem a little stuck on theirselves. Almost like the HEMI guys.
Notice ... I said SOME

Dang, Flyer, you trying to start up another war ?!?
J/K, thanks for the "Some" addition.
I also agree about some of the F-body folks, seems like many of them pay to have things done whereas the truck guys tend to be more DIY.

Alot of the car guys don't understand what it takes to make out trucks fast so they can't apprieciate all the hard work that goes into a 13sec or faster truck (or even a 14sec crewcab 4x4). So to them ET is the most important thing and if you don't compete with an 11sec LS1 you aint'' nothin. It's cool though.

I'm just glad I wasn't the only one feeling this way. It's kind of foolish but it's fun to come home from work and see you guys are still here.

i dont think it is just an ET thing. really i dont care about fbodys either so i can see their point of view. if i was going to do a car it would be a gto or a vette or even a 05stang(with an ls1).

I know what the rules state because I re-wrote them from the originals but honestly, I don't like to move your threads either because I know who the were intended for. On the other hand, we have sections for certain topics and that's why they get moved. It's too bad that the interaction between f-body and truck guys is sparse but I also know how you feel about posting to people you "don't know". Maybe we do need our truck lounge back?
