stock exhaust

anyone know the size of the stock exhuast on a 99 sierra 5.3 ext cab, thinking about a cutout..

I believe it is some oddball size in the neighborhood of 2-7/8. You should be able to make a 3" cutout work.

2.75" is the factory diameter. Most use a 3" cutout
