The shift kti would be easier while it's in the truck. That way you don
't have it moving aroundon you while you're trying to work on it. You can take the valve body and seperator plate to the workbench anyways.

There isn't a bolt that goes on the top passenger side if that's the one you're after. The one on the top is easiest with a 15mm deep socket and a BUNCH of extensions. Let the trans hang so the motor's tilted all the way back, that should make it easy to get to.

glad to hear that it is done. i thought about doing mine, but i ended up paying someone to do it for me. not sure if i will try tackling this job if it comes up again. i want to learn how to do it though. but it would have to be on a truck that is not my daily driver.

let us know how you like the stall. i like mine, but traction is an issue for me. the posi helped out alot. but i can still break the tires loose easy

yeah i had the TV out in the garage on the floor so i could watch it while i worked on it.

i got the exhaust up today and go to start the truck and it it won't. i guess that whne i put the starter back up it ripped the wire out of the crank position sensor. got i got the wires back in and it still wont start. on tuesday my buddys step dad is going to bring his tech 2 home from work and were going to figure it out and install my PCM.
