Default SRT 10 at the track today and....

WOW! Those things will run! All my mods and I run 8.90's with tire hop, cold bottle. The first time he went down the track he ran a 9.2? and it looked like he spun to the 330ft. Next pass ran a 8.5? and 8.50's troughout the day. I was hattin it too because I didnt think people had enough money around here to get somthing like that. Oh well gives me somthing to shoot for.

I think they suck for the track times vs hp/tq they have.

Those trucks are a piece for how much they cost. Get rcsb silvy put a radix or sts on it do some tuning and slicks come out 10 grand ahead and have a faster truck. Just my .02

Hey wannagofast, im not sure what all you have in your truck but i noticed that you have a hypertech tune and nitrous. Im just wanted to make sure you were not running the 93 tune and nitrous at the same time...my friend fried his 97 ford like that.

I find the SRT 10 fascinating. It's like sticking a 427 side oiler between the fenders of a late 60's Ford pickup back then

No The chevy SSR is a piece for how much they cost and how slow they run. I mean good god, try getting your 6.0 chevy rcsb w/ a 6 speed out of the hole...........oh I forgot Chevy dosen't make a 6.0 w/a 6 speed, oh and they don't make a 6.0 in rcsb either, just my .02.
