Default Saw my first VHO in California today.

Although it didn't have VHO emblems on it, it had the VORTEC High Output labels on the doors. It was brand new Sierra from a local dealer, I didn't know you could get them here. I had nice factory chrome 20's but other than the door emblems, nothing distinguishable. I looked under it and the exhaust looked like what comes on the Cadillac Escalades. This truck is a wolf in sheeps clothing! If it was my truck, the first thing to come off would be the door emblems. I went to the Chevrolet & GMC websites, you can only get the "Sierra Performance Package", Chevy doesn't offer the LQ9 6.0L in normal Silverado, although you can get a 2wd Silverado SS now which I assume is the same thing. Looked nice!

I was after a vho for a while also. I was also planning on removing the badges on the doors if I would have bought one.

Chevy does offer a VHO Silverado and they are available in CA. 1/2 ton ecsb. My brother and cousin both have them, purchased in Burlingame, CA. Only select dealers get them though.

If I could get the LQ9 in the 1/2 Crew Cab, I would probably buy either a Sierra or Silverado. The back seat the my QC Ram isn't quite full size, the GM Crew Cabs are. The GM trucks are do for a face lift and I've heard they might offer the 6.0L in more packages now, we'll see.

Where did you get his information? www.chevrolet.com only lists 2005 models, and doesn't list the 6.0L in the CC trucks. It would be nice to get the 6.0L, I'm sure the CC weighs more and the extra power would be nice.

The RPO is NHT you can find info here: http://www.autobuybids.com/ABM_Build...make=Chevrolet and also here: http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/dom...page=6&butID=3

The second link is the online order reference guide for GM. It shows all the options that are currently available. The first link is from a local build your own truck sight but shows what you can order for the 2006 trucks. On the first link this NHT is only available on "LT" styles. Doesn't show it's available for the LS. Also, it has the pricing!
