Default removing drive axle question

when i go to remove the drive axle flange bolts, will it come off or is it stuff with a c clip, I need a boot and half way through the job i realized i needed to take the whole cvaxle off to do this. I have the tools and think i can do this one .Yeah i am replacing the outter cv boot for the record. I know the garages will charge at least 200 bucs i want to save and learn this thing .

Help would be great.

Undo the halfshaft/propshaft bolts at the differential flange and then remove the nut at the spindle to slide the splined section of the shaft out of the hub and remove driver/passenger side shaft as one piece.

im so happy the cv shaft went on and came opff w/o a hitch, i lerned some thing from this. I hd been having night mares about it being difficult , but it was really simple and would advise it for any one - just have a 10 inch extension on your gun.
