Parish Watch out

Yyyyep but for a "drag car" unfortunately, I hate to say it cause it sounds insane but, 9.86 sec. isnt that fast... And again I said for a DRAG CAR/TRUCK!! Although that is an absolutely amazing accomplishment in any vehicle!! There are people that come to MIR all the time for test and tune and pull low 8sec's some high 7's and Im talking truck chasis but of course tubed and tubbed
JLP's Lightning is wicked but like facn8me said its apples to oranges. While parish can enjoy his ride anywhere all day long, JL is limited to towing it to the track, paying entry fee's, strapping on a helmet, shutting her down at the end of the race cause of heat, waiting for his turn again, making sure his class is up, etc. etc. Although like I said it is still an amazing vehicle!

did I mention I need you to come down to ole Manassas soon. Most likely after July cause my boy is getting married...but the Motor is almost done, I have to order the cam this Friday. Nitrodave told me the DP system is almost done and once I fork over the dough for that, I'm sending the Tranny to Chuck

I'd go nuts looking at it in the garage, driveway, trailer, or whatever.

Will do! I got my boy from Postanka chevy coming to help on the install, and he's got a garage and every tool we'll need to Get R Done
But none the less you gotta come down and check it out, I know we could use your help.

nice truck. takes nothing away from parrish's truck. lets see it run the number (JLP) before i am absolutely impressed. i am sure it will run fast. i know that he is looking for 8s. shouldnt be a problem with a 4 link truck that is very light..

btw this JLP's old dyno. that netted the 9.88 pass.

i am sure the new powerplant will put down more power.
Sal @ power surge performance has made well into 700 rwhp on his old combo (turbo L) and looking for 800 this year.
