i am not sure but i probably all ready make more power than jlp, or about the same power.

 

yeah i would be willing to say the power numbers are close but he has you beat in the traction area but i'd take a 10 second street truck over an 9 second trailer queen any day of the week... well exept maybe friday

 

that lightning, it sure looks stock. There is a guy arround here that has made the clames he is the fastest street legal lightning in that body style he runs a 10.2 1/4 goes by chicken... i have never checked to see if he is but thats interesting

 

There might be a new comer up and coming in the next couple of months if everything goes as planned. I dont think mid 10's, but im definately shooting for mid to low 11's , until i get bored. then mid 10's here i come!! lol

 

He said " 10 second street truck" It might just be the coolest sleeper ever. Trailer queens are for rich posers and wallet tuners. Jealous whos jealous

 

Nice truck, but then again I could care less. It its not a street vehicle then I personally have nothing for them. Street rods rule

Yeah its pretty sick but if parish tubed his out and threw a tube chasis on it there would be no comparison. He is already this close to him now what do you think would happen with just slicks!!?? Not to bash the lightning cause its definatley pretty cool but it defeats the purpose of the whole project, experience, and joy of watching parish make new Street times that were never even thought possible with a street truck. I know a guy that runs a 8.77 in the 1/4, if you want to get technical about it, and its an old S10. Parish, by far, has a much greater accomplishment in my honest opinion.

 

The Lightning looks fantastic!!

I'm all about the sleeper look though.


In all the whole point is Parish did some good natured ribbing and it's coming right back at him. Racin is racin. It's who crosses the line first.

 

Yep, But I can't wait to see Parish run faster than JLP, and drive his truck home.
