They are, trust us...I tore apart three "built" 60s with a mild N/A Stroker build - they just can't take the HP/TQ/Weight combo of these rigs when pushed past manufacturer specs.

So that must explain why GM, Audi and Mercedes utilize superchargers in OEM applications

So far then an 80e (built or stock?)
Built 10 bolt with lsd and 3.73
4 link rear
A supercharger from the ctsv
My current 4.8 or a nicely built 5.3 if I'm feeling frisky...or because she's my current daily and will be easier to swap in in a weekend lol
SUV and truck stock brake upgrade

But what about ride height?
2/4 drop with 29" tires?
Axle flip?
c notch?

Trans is determined by power. Get a lower mile, clean fluid 80 and put an HD2 in it, and mob it until something breaks.

That is the most cost effective solution on the table for you.

Agree 100%.

Make sure you get it from a reputable source. I got burned on FB marketplace and it cost me a rebuild right from the start.

i daily drove my last 04 RCSB putting just over 20k on the setup, had a stock lq4 tuned, stock 4l80e with torque management removed truck ran strong was really fun! i lowered it 5.5/6.5 was "ok" i had billet specialties rims the offset was a little off so i had to hack up the front fenders a little and roll the fender lips on the bed when on the eway a good dip in the road the crossmember would scrap and on the roads around here going straight i felt i was on a road coarse trying to avoid potholes and man hole covers so it was a bit low i feel for a daily

i sold that truck and missed it so much i bought another 04 rcsb, this time around im installing a H/C/I lq4 with a 4l80e and just doing a 4/6 drop, 20" yukon rims with 255/45/20's should be a fun reliable DD with 380/400 wheel HP nothing to right home about but should get me in the low13's if lucky maybe high 12's not sure since its only a 3.42 gear that i might just keep since i do a LOT of eway driving my last truck had a 4.10 and it was turning 2800/3000 every time i was on the highway witch caused it to push some all from just about every gasket on that engine lol

as stated i would not do the 60e i smoked mine with a stock 4.8, i never had a blower i really was thinking about one for this truck but some friends have them (13 gt500 & 17 zo6) seams they always have a problem with belt slip or heat soak and those cars come with them from the factory, others with aftermarket setups have issues with crank pulleys and belts when they beat on them so it turned me off from them if i go FI it will be turbo i like you can turn boost up or down on demand

Just a comment on blowers. I installed my Whipple kit with no issues whatsoever related to the kit and reliability. No belt slip and it's original with 31k on the blower. Heat soak did occur on the 3rd 1/8 mile back to back pass with no cool down and it was a bit slower. DD as my work truck no issues Summer or Winter.

I daily drive a blower car with some mods, and except for a vacuum leak throwing a MAF code, it's fine. I prefer it in traffic actually. Pretty terrible highway car, but 0-40mph, watch out.

My Tahoe is on a P1SC that sees 12psi at ~6700. Been through some iterations with it, but more or less had 0 problems with it in 30k mi or so. Currently in a planning stage to get it a bit snappier and less top end happy

hey guys when i said about the blowers the cars are fine when in traffic, driven mild and even a little aggressive, when they have problems is when they want that blower to work HARD like a track night or nights down in Mexico to me thats when it counts the most but thats when the heat soak and belt problems are the worst

but that blower whine tho...

Sure. But you either have a fun mild daily (like the OP wants and what my Buick is) or you have a race car. And there are different parts and combos to get each.

For a daily driver, in traffic, pulling stop lights, and getting good MPG while having good throttle response, nothing beats a blower build.

I would be putting the LSA on my Tahoe except it's worth more than the P1, the P1 is already on there and I bought a Ford and need money for that, else I'd be taking my own advice and putting the twin screw on my truck

i guess it comes down to how much HP/TQ the OP is looking for in his daily?

i like the blowers they make some good power but i want to let it eat and not have something that when im beating on it give me problems like the heat soak or belt slip, but to be fair the cars im talking about are making 700+ at the wheels so the blowers are working harder then the 400-500 hp engines im guessing that probably has a lot to do with it
