LSA blower, mild cam, supporting mods, 80E swap. Positive displacement blower will make that 4.8 feel like a big block, instant TQ.

I'm lazy so the 6.0 would be easier Lol

And cheaper but still fun.

Why a 29" tire?
Just a good fit for 3.73's for street and highway. Or 32's with 4.10's and so on.

Others can help you better on that but it depends on power level. 4wd not much worry but 2wd different story. I know a 10 bolt built is plenty capable though. Sounds like you want to get a little spendy maybe? I personally would do a turbo on the 4.8. Check fastjweb in Drag section. He was close to 9's before the 4.8 gave up now 5.3. Look at Post 1 and 7...holy **** that trucks badass!

So a built 10 bolt isn't like a built 60e lol

And a 5.3 is the middle ground between the 4.8 and 6.0 you think? (Cost, power)

Yes. There are plenty of na trucks that run great but unboosted you just cant beat cubic inches. Turbos dont care nearly as much even on cams either. Other than nitrous its really a great way to go fast. I love my blower for the torque on a dd but it is not as fast as a turbo and more expensive if you do it right. Sure is reliable though. Very happy with it.

So ideally then a 5.3 with a old ctsv supercharger with a built 10 bolt 3.73 and an 80e would be a solid daily

OP: I'll have a 6rib LSA kit for sale here shortly. You will need to source a heat exchanger, and intercooler pump, but is otherwise complete. I'll make you a good deal on it when the time comes. You can run it on the 4.8 no problem too 👌🏻
