Default ongoing rant

more complaining, though this was my fault. my truck has a 3/5 drop(supposed 3/5,there are only shackles out back) and im running 275/60/17`s, every once in a while ill hit a bump or dip a little too hard, and the front right tire grabs some fender. strips a sliver of rubber from the tire. im usually careful about how i drive because of this.tonight i hit a set of tracks i usually avoid, or roll slowly over, a little too fast. i wasnt even thinking about them, my mind was elsewhere. the truck bucked hard and the right front grabbed the fender 2 or 3 times. made me feel sick inside

im going to try.id like to get some 2 inch springs. or 2 inch drop spindles and stock springs, but ive read spindles give a wider turning radius. its not exactly tight, now.
i can see where its rubbing, but i dont know how much good i could do by tapping it in a bit.

or, a set of stock 17`s. these centerlines make the tires stick out.

The correct back spacing is a good idea, or you could get a shorter tire. Is the fender damaged?

no damage.i can see where it hits the tire. it`s a small area on the inside of the fender. im going to take the wheel off and see if beating on it with a hammer helps. i just bought these tires.. the 275/55`s were too expensive... and the 275/50`s, i couldnt make my mind up on.already had a set, thought they were too short.

lol I was JFWY
I'd look at new backspacing or different tire size for the fronts.
