Default FEDEX rant

I ordered me a set of speakers for my rear doors on Feb 22nd. I have since ordered a ton of other audio stuff and recieved all of it. Except this one pair of speakers. I contact the company to find out what gives and i get a tracking number. Turns out they have been delivered on the 28th. I go tear my garage up looking for that unfound box. Kinda like on xmas morning when you go looking for that last gift under the tree. Well, i can't find it. Started a claim on fedex.com and it says no can do. they were delivered and here is the addy. even gave me the name of the person that lives there.

I go down to that house and it's two older people that live there. I spoke with the woman and she starts lieing to me right off the bat. no, we have seen no packages. then i showed her my printed copies of the delivery from fedex and then she changes her story. well, we did get a package. I'm thinking, why lie? but then she says that her grandsons order all sorts of stuff from ebay and they get deliverys there all the time and she just assumed it was theres. I said lady, the box has my name on it. It has my address on it. Any person that is honost will look and try and locate the proper house it goes too. then her husband came out and he started making excuses about the situation. He said he remembered that day cause they got two packages and didn't know what the other one was for. he said yea my grandson said he got some speakers in that one box. hmmmmmm. shady.

well the lady just called me and said her grandson is bringing the speakers to her tomorrow and she'll deliver them personally. she is claiming they were inside of a box with some stuff he had ordered. i don't know about yall but it seems to me that a company that deals with electronics on a massive scale won't make a mistake like that. put two customers stuff in the same box. hell the odds or two people in the same neighborhood ordering from the same company at the same time and being delivered on the same day is astronomical. one more note, they did tell me they had two boxes that day. now it's, my stuff was inside their box.

my rant is over for now. i'm tired of typing.

I used USPS for the shipment to TCI then UPS to the guy that bought the converter. Both screwed it up. I havent had a problem out of FEDEX yet but I have had maybe a 1/10th of my packages shipped through them.

Well UPS sucks. They damaged a package of mine that had a clutch in it. The guy got it and he don't know if the clutch is going to work. How the hell do you mess a clutch up in shipping it. They must have had a sledgehammer to it or something

we had a $50K part delivered to the wrong address by FedEx one time. It was delivered to a residential address, I bet the people that got it were wondering what the hell it was. It was a part for an MRI, it was about the size of a computer motherboard....we got it back after I called customer service raising hell. amazing how something can weigh 2 lbs and cost over 50 grand...

How can FedEx deny your claim if it was their mistake?
