Side exit dual exhaust and painted tailgate handle

Home brew intake (sounds awesome, and makes more power than DJ Motorsports' kit

looks good cashdude...
making progress there!

i wonder what it would look like if you painted the handles where the chrome is black;
to match the mirror setup..

when are the racing stripes going on?

Hey I never thought of that. I could swap the grab part from the stock handles on there if I get tired of the chrome and it would even have the same texture as the black on the mirrors. I put the handles back together with zip ties because I couldn't get the rivet things back in so it wouldn't be hard. Also you can't tell but the handle in the pic is a back door handle with no key cylinder that I modded to fit. Also I remember someone asking about different exhaust than echo tips out the back, I think it was you, so I took this pic. Also I need to make a homebrew intake shield. The DJ motorsports one was so short it left like 2 or 3 inches from the hood so I put that ugly foam on there. Maybe Bigtex can give me a hint on how he did his because I have no clue what he used. Oh yeah and the Silverado badge is coming off as soon as I get a day off. And I need to find a place that makes a roll pan for the step side. BlackBeauty can you post the address for pics of your new truck. I want to check it out. Later guys.

Nice pics dude. The cleared headlight it sweet. Just so you aren't confused I was talking about your post on the performance board on the threat about the cat back where you said- like RED2K says, i too am getting tired of using the same 'ol flowmaster setup. i've used it with both of my trucks so far. i'm tired of that same old two tailpipes out the rear end also.- That is what I meant. Sorry if I worded it wrong to confuse you and it won't happen again. Are you going to put some of those Ford keys on to level the front? Everybody tell me if you like the side exit exhaust or if it is ugly!!!

i like the side exits, just dont like that you can see the piping from behind
you should put them before your back tires
the straight tips look to red=neckish in my opinion and the side tips look kinda mojo,
strictly my opinion of course.
i think i am going to get those ford keys for the ride. cant beat saving $100 on something i wanted to do anyway.

i am thinking about that corsa but still its 600 smackers.....i am thinking about doing a true borla setup from headers on back. just a thought? i want something that i dont have to worry about hearing some other smuck or beat up old farm truck wit the same set up. do any of you all know of some different sounding mufflers? i have had 40 series flowmasters on the last 7 rides i have had and am getting tired of them.

get the flowmaster racing mufflers, i dont remember if they go as low as a "no chamber"
i had the lowest one available with hideaways, 2.25" piping... sounded loud as hell with my headers (jba shorties)
i'm thinking a 2.5" piping would be the best with the "no chambers"

that's what i ran on my old truck and also replaced the stock cats
