Im outta this friggin commie tree huggin hellhole of a state. Thats the last fuggin straw. Had it. Cost of living, taxes, loony bird govt. officials, hippies everywhere, Cal Berkeley (Oh how I wish the A bomb research would have gone haywire and leveled the entire area), RIDICULOUS gun laws, did I mention taxes?, crappy gas, everything. I can visit this place in the summer for the broads and stuff. I dont need to live in **** to be able to smell it.

I have a '70 Chevelle SS sitting in my garage and looking at a 69 Caprice for my cruiser and this throws all kinds of issues my way (70 was originally sold with smog equipment that was removed many YEARS ago)

Ack. Just FUGGIN ACK! I dont know whats wrong with the people and the govt in this state but, and I say this with all do respect, they all need a hardcore *** whoopin and ALL need to be deported to France where they'll live happy socialist lives.

Are you sure about that???

They just passed a bill to stop the rolling smog law, which means that 76 and newer cars will always have to be smogged (which really sucks since i own a 76). Are you sure your info is right? I cant find any other info about this. There is no way something like that could pass, once something is exempt, how are they gonna decide to start making them smog again.

It really sucks how they target the old cars for smog, since they are the smallest percentage of polluters out there

I didn't think it was all TOO hard to get a true musclecar to pass emissions... I mean these F-bods here pass in Cali with 224/224 114 cams - the only real emission device on them are the cats and good tuning via the fuel injection/computer.

I'd imagine a 'real' car could pass with a set of cats and some good wideband part throttle tuning. (and a few of those sniffer tricks wouldn't hurt)

But yeah.... I'm VERY MUCH with you guys here. This thing is absolutely ridiculous.

I live at home in California when I am not going to school. Let me tell you it is not all it is cracked up to be. This state sucks. Don't move here. We have enough people as is. I just hope they dont go any earlier.

Fuggers!
