So starting on 1/1/05 1961 and newer vehicles will needed to be tested! 45 years and older will be exempt....

Not good. I have been wondering when something like this would happen. I have 69 El Camino and a 70 C-10. There are some many vehicles that stand no chance of passing todays smog test.

So, I have to try to smog my 62 CJ-5?? Haha, good luck with that seeing as it has no emissions controls whatsoever, its about the simplest engine on the planet. Oh well, if I can avoid it for a year, it'll be exempt.

LOL so I have to smog my 1970 GTO (really a Tempest) even though it 150 more cubic inches of displacement then when it was new.

if it runs good you won't have much to worry about. the standards for them aren't very high to pass.
