I posted this in a different forum at one point. Take a look hopefully it helps. It takes a lot of reading and a lot of research before the swap.

Recently figured out how to copy lots of links at once. These are all somehow related to OBS --> LSX engine swap. This is what I used. It may not be applicable to you or they may not all have 100% correct info. Hopefully it will help others. I can put them in a separate thread if that would be better. Here they are:

Looks like a lot of good info I'll have to read through it later. I still need info on the wiring if you have any info on that. I know I can get a stand-alone harness for about 250 but can't I also modify the stock 6.0 harness to work? I have complete engine harness and computer

You can modify it. Some guys on eBay sell how to manuals for ~$25, and some ppl will also do it for you ~$100.

I've never done it because I am lazy AF and didnt want my crawler to suffer a failure in the harness due to my "creativity" with the conversion, so I had my tuner convert the harness. Took him 2 days, maybe 5hrs total work.

If you didnt want to do it yourself, the shop/person who you select to tune the truck can probably do it for you. Probably cheaper if they know they are getting money from you for the tune anyway.

One other thing, I am not 100% sure: But I think your ECU is immobilized. Your tuner should be able to bypass that for you no problem.

This s what I used for reworking my harness:

There's a link to that site above, but it's to a different page on the site. He has a how to there for free.

I'm not sure how anyone does the conversion in 5 hours and retains traction control, AC, and cluster. Let alone doing it for 100 bucks. Standalone harness maybe... conversion so everything works... no way. If there is a true drop in harness that retains these things for $250, I'd be super surprised!

Sent you a pm.

The OP did mention standalone, and no one except you mentioned anything about TC, AC and cluster. I mentioned my crawler, which has absolutely none of the above, and the OP didnt seem all too interested in any of it except stand alone.
