A lot of us are running this converter... Well, I haven't actually ran it yet, I'm still waiting for the transfer case speed sensor plugs that I ruined Nothing is worse than not having your truck for 3 weeks, and when you get everything put together, you have something dumb like a speedometer that doesn't work.
Haha how did you ruin it? Thats actually the one i have been looking at what stall did you want?

I know that's what I said, it took me forever to find a motor, oh well i have it now and i didn't expect to get a H.O 5.3. I've read that i will be about 100lbs lighter than a LM7

Yeah it should be at least 80 pounds lighter IIRC. Enough to notice the difference up front

On an L33, you should have 243/799 heads. These are "better" than 862 heads.

I was gonna say, an L33 with 862 heads? Either they've been swapped or someone along the line is full of ****.

Long story short, thought I could save some time and hook everything up to the transfer case before installing it, and it fell off the jack, pulling the pins from all of the 2 pin plugs (Input speed sensor, Vehicle speed sensor, output speed sensor) and I couldn't get the pins shoved back in the connectors, so I just ordered new pigtails and I'm going to splice them in.

L33 vs LM7 is easy, is the block aluminum or cast iron?
