I wanna start my build already but i can't! Thanks man ill go check in a bit, the guy said "Why do you want a aluminum block they don't last as long as Iron and i bet you it'll last 1 year."
I told him thats my problem if i break it, it gives me a excuse to buy a 6.0, not only that camaros and vetts have a Aluminum block and i still see them having the crap revved out of them and they're fine. All of a sudden the dumbass becomes a expert in performance motors,

I've been pissed for 4 days in a row now lol
This ***** annoying, he keeps saying call me back in 1hr. fk that guy i'm loading the motor on my truck and i'm asking to speak with a manager.
He said the mix up was because it was 1month from being a year so the computer put it as a 2005, that has to be the stupidest **** i've ever heard, excuse my language

Swear all you want, I would. My engine is all-aluminum, runs like a champ. The aluminum LS blocks don't really give anything up to their iron counterparts until you get up over 750+ horsepower, maybe more. At that point, you could just resleeve instead of replacing the block. As said earlier, one of our own members was putting down big numbers with an aluminum 5.3.

I have an 05, with the L33 block and it has been a great engine... I only have 23,000 miles or so on it, but it has been fine. I like that it doesn't rust and looks clean as well. Also nice that it might help it run cooler because it 05 they also came with electric fans as well from the factory.
