handle stock. I know the pistons are an issue when going FI, but what about the rods, crank ect?

Thanks.

I've heard that the stock bottom end is good up to about 500 hp, as long as you have a good tune in there.

Maybe, but I doubt the pistons and rods would handle that....

With the right tuning I think (i hope) the stock bottom end is limited to around 600hp ~
or so.

Parish was making around 650 rwhp on a 6.0 with the his turbo. If I remember a stuck nitrous solinoid (spelling) was the cause of shattering the piston.

I made 680hp/780tq on the 5.3 stock bottom end but I didn't go past 5k rpm.
