Default Hit a Deer

Yesterday morning I was on my way home from work (24/48 schedule) about a mile from the house when a deer ran out in front of me and I had nowhere to go so I had to hit it. I 'm going to have to replace the fender, grille, headlights on the driver side, the bumper may have to be replaced, and the hood might have to be replaced. I have pics but I haven't uploaded them yet. I'm hoping they replace the hood so I can get a cowl hood

I shot one of the raccoons that have been tearing through my trash for the last 8 months with my crossbow , a few other ones came back later and totally tore into in though
one down ten to go
Sorry about your luck man, maybe you could do a Denali front end though

that sucks man. i know what you are feeling.

when i bought my truck 5 years ago, i hit a deer going 65 and my truck was only 1 WEEK old. still had a full tank of gas and less than 100 miles on it. i was without my new truck for 2 weeks. luckily i still had my old car.

i hit it dead nuts with the front license plate. my whole grill EXPLODED in my front of me. i pulled over. the headlights looked like eyeballs hanging out of their sockets. the front ended discinigrated. radiator fluid was pouring all over the road. cars driving by were driving over plastic pieces of my truck. i just stood there in disbelief since it was only a week old and was my 1st dream truck.

$4000 later in repairs, it looks and runs good as new. now i don't mind paying insurance every year

Think of this as an oppourtunity to do some mods, like the cowl hood you mentioned, or a color matched grille, or a SS bumper cover. Good things can come out of a bad situation.
