If he's running mid 14's he's not stock and he didn't say he was stock. He's got some programming going on there and other mods to get that big truck going that well.

The Other Dodge above is right
They have thrown themselves into the truck war - banking on the Hemi name
Too bad a true Hemi doesnt run well on gasoline or when they are not blown or turbo'd or run on nitro or alky.
Want proof
Read the current Hot Rod or Car Craft
They test the new "Hemi" heads for the Chev big block
The heads are built by Sonny Leonard
Read his quotes.
This guy builds 800 ci motors that make 1500 horse.
Think he knows what he is talking about
Good article.
I do find it interesting that there are few aftermarket parts avail for the Hemi stuff - you would think that aftermarket companies would be climbing all over each other to pump out parts to these guys.
- OtherDodge - dont get bent out of shape - I own 2 Mopars. (pre '70)
As far as the trucks Just dont like the semi truck front end, the maint problems that they have, workmanship, and they sit too high -
but to each their own...

Ok, so I guess I'm "Dodge Boy". When did I get bent out of shape as you said in the last post? I simply stated that the D-max wasn't stock as "The Other Dodge" said in his post that "a stock D-max can walk on hemi's". I'm not a "Chevy boy or a Dodge boy", I consider myself a "truck guy". I've never flamed any other truck or person for driving it. Like you said, "to each his own".
