Man, Dodge is still using a speed density system.
I think that right there is part of the bad fuel mileage. Is it at least a sequential firing system?
My brother in laws QC Hemi hangs pretty good(doesn't beat or stay even
) on the highway with my modded reg cab 5.3L. His is 4wd with the quad cab and 20s so that Hemi must be putting out some power. We haven't had a chance to race from a stop yet but, I want to.
I checked this thread to make sure it wasn't some huge fighting match and to my surprise and relief it wasn't.
Moving to the lounge though.

All I know is that the truck i drive has a bowtie on the front and not some ram looking thing, and that is why I am on this site. I know guys that have always driven chevys and now drive a new ram and love it. Good for them. But as far as being fast or giving us a run for out money, I dont see it. Dodge doesnt build a truck that scares me. Even the big, bad STR-10 with its viper engine and 6speed. That thing is such a waste of money. 500ci=505hp. When I can make 435 rwhp out of a 294ci engine. It is a joke. The only dodge truck that we really have to watch out for at the R/T's. Go to Dragtruk.com and look at the fastest trucks. There are ALOT more R/T's towards the top of the list then gm's. So I think that we need to think about which dodge we really need to be watching out for. Thats just my .02
