what is that I see, a blue truck, long trailer with tools. no tail gate and roll bars through the back glass.
wait a minute that truck looks familiar.
where did I see it before?????????????
damn it is fast, just watched it make a 10.30 @ 130.

what was that???? what did he say?????? turbo charged blue truck with a 418 small block.

and who's picture did they show as one of the winners, well I be damned it's Jim.

Hopefully he makes it this year. I would be nice to see him win again.

 

If he gets into the 9's consistently we'll have a bronze statue made of him or something. He's one of the flagships of our site.

not much chance of me winning this year. i am going mostly for fun but will be doing my best in the 11.0 daily drive class. the problem is on friday they group both the 11.0 and 12.0 class together and let the top guys from each class race. there will be some very consistant guys in the 12.0 class. last year there were 2 guys that averaged 12.005.

only 2 days left. i have the next 10 days off, woohoo. that doesn't happen very often.

 

When did they change the rules? That just sucks when you spend all this time planning on a # and they go changing the rules. Good luck and hope see you next week. Vince.

they didnt change any rules. the 11.0 guys and the 12.0 guys still shoot for their respective times. it is like a bracket race where one will leave before the other.

they are taking the top 4 cars from the 11.0 class and the top 4 cars from the 12.0 class and they all race each other to get a top dog daily driver. there are only something like 11 cars in the 11.0 class so i have a fairly good shot at geting into the top 4 but thats about as far as i see geting.

on friday reaction time counts so i need to work on that a little too.

 

yeah, i will be signing on most nights and kyle(1320video) will be posting up pics and some short clips during the week.
