your better off buyin the harness's from a dealer, its SO much easier, you wait for them to come in... then take the old ones off... then put the new ones on, no cuttin no trimmin no rewiring... very very easy

The conversion is very very easy too, I did it in about 15 minutes, and it's been working perfectly for over a year and a half.

No reason to spend the extra $$ when it's just as easy and just as reliable to DIY.

All the conversion is is 4 T-splices (2 on each side).

Seems much easier to add two little lights instead of replacing the whole harness. To hell with gm's overprice factory stuff...nothin else we do to our trucks is factory, why should our taillights be any different
