It should be the 292's for your truck. Measure the core length in between the end tanks. There should be ~28". If so you need the 292's. They are rated at 4600CFM.

I put the 292 in mine, but it took a bit of cutting to make it fit, and I had to fab up some bottom brackets. Not too hard to do. Something I would recommend is replacing their variable speed controller with an upgraded unit. They might be OK now, but when I got mine they were getting some cold solder joints in their production, causing a lot of grief. If you want, I can PM you the name of a good one.

the new 292 fans come with the same hardware as the 282 fans, so there should be no cutting now and they have a better controller as well.

OK, I have to know. What did you cut and why did you need bottom brackets?

weel its kinda off subjet but why spend money on flexalite when you can make your own setup with about 125 bucks all you need is 2002 chevy impala fans and your proper wireing and relays and about an hour of your time, only thing difficult is having to make your own wirering kit but i guarantee you guys that they flow twice as much as any other aftermarket e-fans I have 2 friends of mine that swamped out thier flexalites for the impalas and have gotten better cooling performance IMO its well worth the 125 bucks it cost me to do

Well, maybe it's because my truck has a 4.8, but the fan shroud was a bit too big for the radiator, and I had some interference around the lower radiator hose fitting. Also, the top brackets wouldn't fit at all per the instructions, so I had to mount the brackets in an entirely different fashion. I don't recall the details on the lower mounts except that there was nothing to attach the fan shroud to. So I made some long straps and bolted them to a braced-up portion of the plastic skid plate. I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now, but when I recover I'll take some pics and post them, which should explain things a lot better.

I should point out that you will peobably not have these problems because, as V8 mentioned, they've changed the kit. Also my truck seems to be some kind of an oddball, where bolt-on parts usually don't. Makes things interesting. Anyway good luck, you'll love the fans once you get them in.
