What are those guys thinking? They are some die hard dodge owners! One guy said that his hemi is faster than the 5.3, however he raced his wife (which was in the hemi) against him which was in their van My neigbor owns a 5.7 hemi ex cab 4x4 with a flowmaster exhaust and he couldn't believe how fast my truck is. He said that his Plymoth prowler would smoke his hemi any day of the week thats alot because the Prowler was a joke!

By the way at 70mph the other day I pulled along aside of a RCSB hemi 2wd he looked at me and we both punched it. With my mods I pulled about a 1.5 lengths on him and he finally let off. By the way this aint no B.S.

 

 

A lot of them are a bunch of idiots ... but there are some of them that are actually pretty kewl. Some of the decent guys over there troll over here from time to time too. Thier kewl though and I think they realize they are surrounded by morons.

the way i see it is, dodge hasn't had much to be proud of when it comes to trucks in a long time and now they do. just let them be idiots and believe the hype of the hemi.

 

I'm a CHEVY guy BUUUT if i had to buy something OTHER than a 2500HD Chevy it would we a 2500 Hemi Dodge- they arent that bad-BJ

 

No hype with my HEMI, its not the fastest and there are alot faster trucks out there. How ever it is a fast stock, you can't deny that fact.

 

Stock there ok. I test drove a reg cab Hemi with the 3.9x gears and it did alright. It would have been more impressive if it wasnt so heavy. Hemi's just dont have a good aftermarket yet, and till they do they really cant compete with chevy. Not trying to be a dick, but its the truth. No one is going to leave there truck stock just to race a Hemi. Were going to mod the hell out of them cuz we can. When Hemi has an aftermarket all you guys will mod the hell out of your Hemis, and come after us real quick. This time next year we may be chasing Hemis. Fact is both the LS motors and the Hemi are high reving high hp motors. Its all on what you can buy to put on it from there.

Didn't you make it to the GTG in J-town last time? I hope to be able to make this one ... but I prolly won't cause I doubt I will have the tranny in and running by then.
