Default Drop Affecting Performance Mods?

I don't want my truck Tubbed & Slammed, but I do plan on doing a mild 2/4 leveling drop to make it sit a little meaner & hopefully help with wind resistance. It will be a 2010 RCSB.

My question is will doing this drop affect any performance mods that I plan on doing (ie...headers, exhaust, intercooler, motor swap, ect...). Thanks for any help!

that wont affect anything at all. but a 2/4 really isnt noticeable on a nnbs truck, id personally recommend maybe a 3/5 drop for a sportier look. and the tire and weight of the rims you run do affect performance.

i run a 2/4 on my CCSB and i have a big gap over my wheels still.

i have no issues with performance, just ask 1sik02 how it ran before the converter or hell ask Skipperdaddy how my truck runs from a 40 punch....he only beat me by a fender to 105

x2, I'm currently 2/4 and I am going to 3/5 next week if the spindles show up...if not definitely the week after.

So then yall are suggesting a little more drop like a 3/5 or a 4/6? I do want it to have a good stance, but I do not want smack speed bumps everywhere or scrape going up inclines to stores or resturaunt entrances. I will either be running the stock TX Edition 20's or some SS 20's.

2/4 or a 3/5 will work best. a 4/6 itll run risk of dragging.

i think you will be satisfied with a 4/6, keniffs truck is just stupid fast, and he is lowered 2/4, and sacrifices nothing, good thing is, even at 6", i dont believe you need to notch at all. but I would go for a 3/5, and you can still run your 20s

he doesnt want to hit the speed bumps and stuff, so i say go a mild drop of 2/4 3/5 and play it safe for whatever he may run across in the future. he makes it sound like he doesnt want to drag the frame on anything, or have to cross over stuff at an angle.

you dont notch on the 6" drop but you will bottom out if you have too soft of a shock. if i was to go 4/6 i would notch it either way

I notched at 6". I still bottomed out on any sudden dips in the highway so I ended up putting in helper bags and haven't bottomed out since.
