Drivers side window regulators

Default Drivers side window regulators

This probvably not the right section but who has had problems with the drivers side window reg. I've replaced mine twice already and it keeps taking a #$@#, Is it a common problem please help thanks

Where are you buying them from, aftermarket autozone stuff is junk.

Try to get factory replacements.

If you already did you may have a short that is eating them up??

A trick I learned that makes everything last longer is clear silicone lube spray in the tracks put window up and down a few times then wipe off excess helps even if your windows barely go up and down or work like new

Unless something in the door is bent/misaligned, it's most likely a problem with using low quality parts. I always recommend dealer parts for the window motors, and window regulators.

Try kay auto AC delco wholesale

Rock auto may have the AC delco as well

should be like 112.00 for the whole Enchilada

+1 on all of the above...the aftermarket regulators are junk and don't last very long, and I've found, with most manufacturers' power windows, that some silicone spray in the window runs will allow for a nice low friction surface which will take some strain off of the window regulator/motor
