Default driver side mirror

My dad took his 02 Avalanche into the dealership to get a few things replaced. One of which was his driverside mirror. The stock mirror had power, heating, and some kind of tint to reduce glare. The dealership replaced it with one that doesn't have heat, but does have power and the tint. They charged him $230 for just the mirror. The part number is GNTX08250551508. So my question is, did the dealership screw him over?

Why didn't they replace it with the same type mirror that was on it to begin with? That the only thing I see you got screwed on.

I would go back and demand your money back and your origonal parts back. Once they say they can't give you the origonal mirror ask them why they could not give you the matching mirror that should have been installed. Get the correct mirror and ask for a refund for the time you took for them to do the job correctly.

Good luck
