Question Does my truck have traction control or not ?

Hello there, I have a 2006 silverado z71 LT3 with the L33 engine, diablo sport predator, dynomax catback, and i was wondering if i have traction control or not because the truck acts like it has traction control but there is no traction control button to turn it off. it has slow acceleration off the line but in the snow it acts like there is no traction control. if my truck does in fact have it how do i turn it off because its pretty sad that i cant get it to do a brake stand

Torque Management. You can turn it off by adjusting settings with software controlled interfaces like HPT or EFILive.

Welcome to the forums. Lots of good info here, enjoy!

Oh, and if you like doing brake-stands you might look at doing something about that trans

Shift kit is good, a cooler would be helpful too.

Don't know about the predator, in HPT there's more than one table to disable TM. Maybe someone with Predator experience will chime in.

What gears do you have?

i have a 03 z71 and
1st , it has no traction control
2nd ,those 3:42's wont burn out at all and the drum brakes in the back iant helping.
3rd, the stock transcooler is NOT big enough you need to go with a 40k trans go ,IMO.
4th, get rid of the diablo sport and get a mail order tune from 1 of our sponsers (blackberaperformance, wheatly, nelson tunes )\GOOD LUCK
