Default Desperation in Texas

I have a 2004 5.3L 2wd extra cab chevy silverado! And it's tuned by my real good friend white1!!! Well I'm from the baton rouge area and right now I'm in port Arthur, Texas needing help to find a highly recommended mechanic that is good with dealing with really good tuned GM trucks!!! If anyone could help me obtain this I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Sounds like his really good tune needs a mechanic? If its so good why does it need a mechanic?

The OP don't listen is pretty much what it boils down to. The truck developed a miss with 60k miles on the plugs and 160k on the wires. He's trusting autozones finest when they say #5 has a miss. Instead of changing all the plugs and wires he changed #5. It still misses so he wants to take it to a mechanic and one he called said he won't work on a tuned truck

no need for a mechanic...its a plug, wire, coil pack or injector....it sounds like you already eliminated 2 of them. move the coils around and see if the misfire changes cylinders. if it doesnt change cylinders, try changing your injectors around. process of elimination will save you a TON of money.

germy. Listen to txsilverado. He no's his stuff!

Talked to the jug earlier, said the mechanic said he got bad valves on two cylinders.

This is a buddy of mine, the mechanic wants $1500-$5000, anyone willing to give him a hand swapping another set of factory heads in place for him? Id do it, but 200 miles away and dont have time.
