Tell me about it for that price if I was at home I could put almost the whole 6.0 package i want in but on the other hand at least I'll have a pretty good 5.3 to tear up lol

Tell me about it for that price white1 and I could drop a 6.0 and some which is what I really want but looks like I'm gettin a refurbished 5.3 to tear up or save to drop in a single cab one day lol

Low I checked the wires they were good it's internal for sure dipstick forgot to check the dipstick before this dipstick made that long ride and believe me I had that bad boy runnin

swap coils and scan it. it will take about 10 minutes to see. pull a valve cover and check the springs on that cylinder. maybe 20 minutes if you drink a few beers between.

so you ran it with low oil? you didnt have a check oil level light come on? it could be broken spring/it could be a spun main bearing. i wouldnt pay 3k for an engine swap, f that. buy a 6.0 and swap it in yourself. hell Skeet/Txsilverado could do that in their sleeps. if you was in beaumont id load up and come out. i say swap in a 6.0 if you got the cash even if its stock.

Thanks brothers I sure do appreciate it but I already or should I say my pops already forced me to shop it cause I was takin too long to figure out what I was gonna do!!! He is workin out here too and goin home for the holiday weekend and wanted to be sure I would be alright being that I'm 3 hrs away from home and he ain't gonna drop his fishin pole to come back any sooner lol it's already in the shop robbing the snot out of my pockets lol when I gain what I lost back maybe we ALL can get together and drink some beer tinker with some bolt ons and tune adjustments as long as white1 approves he is like a big brother to me

Has anybody heard anything bad about the shop I brought it to and would y'all buy the bolt ons put it on the 5.3 and then swap to 6.0 or would y'all swap to the 6.0 and then get the bolt ons just curious to the different opinions I'll hear
