Those numbers are with a 3" bullet muffler. Those so called HEMIs are JUNK! I cant imagine those low torque engines in 1-ton duells pulling 12000 pounds. Doesnt Dodge claim like 380tq in those?

Those numbers are at the wheel and Dodge is rating it at the motor. Still, the drivetrain would have to be sucking up LOTS of power to get to 380tq. They do have some crappy transmissions though so who knows.

Glad I bought a GM.

Holy crap With the A/F at 11.3 that thing should have a plume of black smoke rolling out the *** end of it. It would gain a lot of power with some tuning.

thats the same dyno shop place i went to back in january!
i got:
246HP @ 5378 RPM
257TQ @ 4802 RPM in 2nd gear

mods
UPD
50 series flowmaster
descreened MAF

JWRENCH, when my truck was dyno tuned it made the most power with the A/F at 11.5. At 12 it made 15 lbs less TQ.

Well if you saw it on paper then I can't really argue with that but most people tune to 12.9 or so.

Thanks for Hemi #'s I noticed on the spec sheet the trans. is 5A.Good idea,they've got a good place to start.Killed another reg.cab today so they aint tough yet.Jim

That A/F was with higher comp. That may be the diff.
