Default Changed fuel pump, still no go!

I had issues with getting no fuel in my tahoe. I couldn't hear it run so I took out the old fuel pump and did a simple bench test on it and I got nothing. So today I went out and bought a new fuel pump. Also did a bench test on the new one which worked fine. Put it in the tank and hooked it all up. I'm getting no noise or anything out of the pump now. I swapped out the relay under the hood with a tested good one. I believe the problem is I'm not getting any juice to the pump, I just need to find out why. Do the tahoes have a fuel pump kill switch or some sort of cutoff? Also, I was having a problem with my fuel gauge and figured that the new sending unit would fix that, and it isn't working either. I'm not sure what to check on next and was hoping one of you guys could help point me in the right direction. Thanks once again. Tim

did you check the "ECM B" fuse under the hood? did the wiring connector to the pump look burnt or corroded? check the ground on the frame rail near the tank.

I didn't know that the ecm b fuse was affiliated with the pump. The connectors didn't look burnt or corroded, but with my new pump, it made me cut and splice a new style plug in. All the connections are brand new. Unfortunately, I didn't even think to check the ground wire, is it accessible with the tank installed? Thanks for the ideas, I will have to check these things out.

the ground is right beside the fuel pump on the outside of the frame rail on the trucks, should be similar on the hoe

here's a trick that i've picked up from installing car stereos - just run wires directly from the contacts in the fuse box to the pump from outside of the truck and see if you get anything.

Your sure hit the nail on the head with this one 454supersport. Changed that fuse and works great now. I don't ever remember seeing that the ecm b fuse runs the fuel pump relay. learn something new everyday. Thank you for your help. I was real close to taking it to the dealership, which hurts to do.
